- Analyzed various drugs for purity for USP Reference Standards using USP Pharmacopeia methodology including HPLC (High Pressure Liquid Chromatography), UV & IR scanning, and TLC (Thin Layer Chromatography)
- Analyzed cigarettes for nicotine salts that do not naturally occur resulting in increased addiction level - received FDA Commissioner's award
- Ms. Savoy worked full time as a BioMedical Engineer for the University of Washington, St. Louis, MO while attending night school for 4 years
